In short: your projects live on your device first. We only send something to our cloud when you ask. We don’t sell your data and we don’t use advertising trackers. If you join the waitlist, we use your email only to tell you about the launch.
Who we are
Flores Love is a floral design app for iPhone, offered by ANDERSON DE ALMEIDA MELO TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMAÇÃO LTDA (ANDER.APP), CNPJ 53.137.423/0001-14, headquartered at Av. Paulista, 1106, Sala 01, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP, 01310-914, Brazil (municipal registration 7.926.793-9) (“we”). We are the controller of the data processed under this policy and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018).
On your device first
Your bouquets, projects, journal, and preferences are stored on your iPhone. You can use much of the app without creating an account and without sending anything to us.
What goes to our cloud, only when you ask
- Sync and backup: when available and if you turn it on, your projects are uploaded and stored on our servers, linked to your account.
- Notes on your loved one’s widget: the notes and flowers you send to someone’s screen travel through Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit sharing), between your iCloud account and theirs. They do not pass through our servers and are not stored by us. You can stop sharing at any time in the app.
- Realistic render (Pro): when you tap “Create render”, the app tells you and sends the image of your editor composition (plus the colors, vase, and format you chose) to generate a realistic photo of the bouquet. The result is stored in your account, in private storage that only you can access through the app, for as long as the account exists, and is deleted with it. The composition you send is used only to generate the render.
- Artificial intelligence features: when a feature needs more power than the device offers, the request may be processed in the cloud, only when you ask. The app tells you before sending a photo and always tries to process on the device first. On devices without Apple Intelligence, the cloud is also used only at your request.
Launch waitlist
Before launch, you can leave your email on the flores.love website to be notified when the app arrives on the App Store.
- Data collected: your email, the language of the page (Portuguese or English), and the sign-up source (which part of the website you signed up from).
- Purpose: to tell you about the Flores Love launch. We don’t use this email for anything else, we don’t sell it, and we don’t share it for advertising.
- Legal basis: your consent (LGPD, art. 7, I), given when you check the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Retention: we keep your email until launch plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it at hey@flores.love, whichever comes first.
- Storage: a Cloudflare D1 database, run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider.
To prevent abuse, the IP address submitting the form is used to limit repeated attempts and is kept only as long as that check requires, without being linked to your email.
Photos for flower identification
When you use “Identify flowers”, the photo you choose is analyzed to suggest which flower it shows. Whenever possible, the analysis happens on your device. If it has to be sent for processing, it is used only to return the result to you, it is not used for advertising, and it is not shared with third parties for their own purposes. We don’t access your whole photo library: the app only sees the images you select or capture.
Sign in with Apple
To create an account, when available, we use “Sign in with Apple”. We receive a unique identifier and, if you allow it, your name and email (which may be Apple’s private relay address). We never receive your password.
Subscriptions and purchases
Payments are handled by Apple. We have no access to your card or payment details. We only receive confirmation that your subscription or purchase (such as the Bridal Pack) is active and which plan or product you chose. If a purchase is refunded, we record that it was revoked.
Usage analytics
We don’t use third-party analytics or advertising tools. We may measure only aggregated, first-party technical data, such as crashes and performance, to fix problems.
Sale of data
We don’t sell or rent your personal data. We don’t use it to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Sharing with service providers
We use service providers that process data on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes described here. They fall into these categories: cloud hosting and databases; processing of artificial intelligence features (only when you ask); email delivery; and Apple, for payments and sign-in. We may also disclose data when required by law.
How long we keep data
Data stored in our cloud, including realistic renders, is kept for as long as your account exists. To delete your account, go to Projects > Settings (gear icon) > Delete account in the app (or email us at the address below). When you delete it, we erase your data, except what we are legally required to keep. Data that lives only on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.
To prevent abuse of plan limits (for example, deleting the account and signing in again to get another render allowance or another free trial), after deletion we keep only a minimal count of paid feature usage: the month, the feature, and how many times it was used, linked to an irreversible code (hash) that carries no name, email, or Apple identifier. This count is deleted within 13 months.
Children
Flores Love is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children. Teenagers should use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian, as required by article 14 of the LGPD. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us so we can remove it.
Your rights (LGPD)
At any time, you can request:
- confirmation that we process your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete or outdated data;
- anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data;
- data portability;
- information about who we share data with;
- withdrawal of consent and deletion of your account.
To exercise these rights, email hey@flores.love. You can also file a complaint with Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
DPO: Anderson de Almeida Melo — contact: hey@flores.love.
Security
We use encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the ANPD of any significant incident, as the law requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll let you know in the app or by email. The date of the last update is at the top of this page.
